Who are we?

ABOCFA is the only Organic and Fairtrade Certified Cocoa Cooperative in Ghana. We have 1063 members (789 men, 274 women), who collectively farm 1514 hectares. Our head office is located in the Aponoapono enclave in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Our 23 staff members work with the ABOCFA board to implement our mission to improve farmer livelihoods. We continually strive to be self-reliant, and to provide the best services to our members. Above all, ABOCFA aims to reduce poverty and ensure that all members attain a living income.
